My name is Daniel, and I want to write a book about love.

I wished it was THAT easy, but it isn’t.
Here is currently what I have:
- An idea.
Here is what I don’t:
- A publisher
- Any prior experience
- Patience
- Money
- Time
- Credibility
Call me naive; dub me a fool, but an idea is all I have and an idea is all I really need at the moment. I have loved and lost, but who am I to critique the notion of love based on one single encounter, when centuries’ worth of philosophers and romantics have tried and fell short?
Hence, I want you.
I want your love stories, sans the poetic justice; exactly the way it was played out in your head. Poems, chronicling in excruciating details and rhyming sentences, about your yearning for the intended recipient. Letters that were never delivered; the ones that were. Diary entries entailing the days of being in a love now lost, cruelly embossed with fancy pens and smiley faces. Questions that were never answered; answers that were never communicated. Regrets strewn into words – about the fourth tequila shot you never should’ve done; the classified ad you never should’ve responded to. Songs, a medley of the melancholy and drummed up apprehension, you wrote for the love of your life; songs you wrote because of the love of your life. The way you see love, be it through a glass half full, or a pair of glasses so overused; your vision blurred.
Basically everything and anything related to love, I’d love to have you share with me via email or through my Facebook group: Help Daniel Write a Book On Love
Invite your friends. Friends of friends, invite your friends. The cycle goes on, you get the idea.
I may be a stranger to you, and you have every right to your qualms. But love, it’s like this long, ethereal string that somehow ties us all together – beyond the imminent nature of death, beyond the implausible pages the Bible binds, beyond the billions of pixels that make up the Internet, beyond you, beyond me.
So please, do share.
My fingers are crossed.
Strangers subtle silent communication words love life – this is where i am too.
i came across your group because of a few friends on facebook. And i think i might just have the right thing – The Four(letter word) By Five(of us) – for you. This was written during a boring Professional Prepatory Programme lecture. One song was ringing in my head, many clips were playing within me. I had a spark and i thought many sparks would be good.
And what other better word then – Love?

It’s by four of us- very random, really. You can see our names after whatever we have wrote. Hope it helps.
This is where I store up what i write – poetry or prose. Oh i’m from Ngee Ann’s Mass Communication by the way. And was very lucky to have taken the Book Writing & Publishing Module which was segmented into three portions – poetry, prose and publication. You can find all of the works I did there. I think one liners come very close to your current 6 words on love project. Very nice, Daniel. :]
And here’s the prose i wrote for the Book Writing module- Within.
Maybe you might like it.
Strangers. Familiarity, somehow. Connection. Truth. Comfortable in Silence. Ache – Alive. Loss. A Rubber Band Game. Still in the Being.
No Gender, No time frame. No boundaries- is what i experimented with.

And oh,
I’m Lavanya by the way.
Daniel, is this your new blog or just for the book?
